<p>PURPOSE: To design a sensor where a high voltage capacitor has high degree of safety by providing a window, having constant dimensions regardless of the temperature, between two screens. CONSTITUTION: The inventive sensor comprises a first high voltage capacitor defined by an electrode 10 (line conductor) and an electrode 11, and a second capacitor defined by the electrode 11 and an outer electrode 13. The common electrode 11 is isolated from the electrode 13 by a dielectric layer 12. The electrode 10 has one end connected with a set of rods 1 in a metal clad station and the other end connected with an insulator 2 mounted on the wall 3 of the metal clad station. The electrodes 10, 11 are isolated from each other by a screen leaving the window of constant dimensions at two tubular parts 14, 15. The capacitance of a capacitor is kept constant because the window has constant dimensions.</p> |
