PURPOSE:To improve the display grade of a liquid crystal display element and solid image pickup element by using an org. high polymer, polythiol and/or photoinitiator. CONSTITUTION:The org. high polymer having a (meth)acryloyloxy group on the terminal or the side chain of the molecule and polythiol and/or photoinitiator, is solid at room temp. and has <=5,000cps melt viscosity at 200 deg.C is used as the surface protective material for color filters. This surface protective material is solid at room temp. and the melt viscosity at 200 deg.C is usually 1 to 5,000cps, more preferably 1 to 500cps. The multifunctional polyester (meth) acrylate expressed by formula I (where A is an acryloyloxy group or methacryloyloxy group; X is a residual polyvalent alcohol; Y is a residual dibasic group; n is >=0 integer, p is 0 to 3 integer) or the like is used as this org. high polymer. |
