PURPOSE:To easily deodorize air regardless of the compsn. or concn. of bad smell component by bringing air incorporating the bad smell component into contact with a catalyst at a specified temp. to decompose and remove the bas smell component. CONSTITUTION:The air incorporating the bad smell component is brought into contact with a catalyst at 100-200 deg.C. The catalyst is an oxide solid catalyst having an active component composed of MnO2 and CuO. Thereby, the bad smell component is decomposed and deodorized. Thus, deodorization can be industrially performed easily as well as economically regardless of the compsn. or concn. of the bad smell component. |
