A lifting hook for separating a number of reinforcement steel mats or nets from a pile of the same, which hook is provided with an eye for attachment of a lifting gear and with a locking device in the form of a tube 5 which is displaceable in a sleeve 4 fixed to the waist of the hook, and is provided in its curved section with a tip 11, which juts out in the plane of the hook, for facilitating the introduction of the hook between the mats. The lifting eye is disposed perpendicular to the plane of the hook and comprises firstly a rectangular section 2, matched to the cross section of a fork on a forklift truck, and secondly a triangular or arched section 3, facing away from the hook, for attachment of a lifting chain. <IMAGE> |
