摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of scale to an upper heat exchanger and develope stabilized cooling performance for a long period of time by a method wherein belts or wires are passed through gaps between fins of the plate fin tube type upper heat exchanger and plates are attached to the terminals of the belts or the wires to move the plates between fins by the ventilation of air. CONSTITUTION:Belts or wires 11, fixed at the central part of the ventilating side of a heat exchanger, are passed through a gap between cooling fins 8 and are provided with a length long enough to be appeared from the lower side of the upper heat exchanger while streamer plates 10 are fixed to the other terminals of the belts or the wires 11. The streamer plate 10 is provided with a weight and a size, which can swing the plate properly, whereby the plate 10 is swung by receiving cooling air generated by the operation of a cooling tower. The belts or the wires 11, connected to the streamer plates 10, are swung in synchronized with the swing of the streamer plate 10. In this case, the belts or the wires 11 contact with the surface of scale, adhered to the surface of the cooling fins 8, whereby the scale can be removed in the initial stage of the production of the scale due to the collection and the dispersion of the mist of spray water. When the scale is adhered locally as the worst case, the scale can be removed simply by moving the streamer plates 10 manually.</p>
