<p>PURPOSE:To accurately indicate the amt. of moisture absorbed by an absorbent by measuring the ambient humidity at the start of use by a humidity sensor to select a time-absorption curve corresponding to the humidity and calculating the absorption against the time from the curve. CONSTITUTION:This moisture absorber has a housing 3, moisture absorbing unit 4, ventilating unit 7, indicating part 11, humidity sensor 12 and control part 13. The control part 13 is provided with a timer 14 for measuring the time from the start of use and a storage part 15, in which a time-absorption curve previously obtained about a moisture absorbent 5 in accordance with the humidity is stored, to select the time-absorption curve corresponding to the output signal from the humidity sensor 12 at the start of use, and also has an absorption arithmetic circuit 16 for calculating the absorption against time from the selected curve. Accordingly, the absorption against time is calculated from the selected curve, and an accurate absorption is indicated.</p> |
