摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time at the time of area allocation and access to an area by using an external storage device by providing a means for assigning the area of size which can be read in the main storage of a computer at a time, in a layout area. CONSTITUTION:The image data layout area is divided into plural areas to be numbered. Then areas (1) and (10), for example, are divided into maximum areas (a) and (b) which are read in the main storage at a time and an excessive part (c). After the data conversion of a layout object figure in the section (a), image data corresponding to an object figure having low order is transferred to an input image layout buffer. In an example (III), overwriting is performed in the order of plane meshes T3, gradation data, and input image data P6, P3, and P5 to perform a processing procedure. Then the data on the buffer are swept out to the same part in a layout ground paper area, the operation is repeated as many times as color channels, and layout arithmetic (a) ends. Then arithmetic operation is performed as to (b) and (c) and layout operation 10 is completed.</p>
