In accordance with the invention the surfaces of the seals of the rubber type which are intended to be placed in contact with the metal plate of the heat exchanger are provided with a layer of adhesive having special physical and chemical properties. This adhesive, which is sensitive to pressure and has a fast rate of setting makes it possible to assemble the parts which have to be joined (in this case the seal and the plate) either immediately after the adhesive has been laid or over a prolonged period (for example several months) after it has been laid. Also, an essential feature of this adhesive comprises the fact that the parts joined can easily be separated from each other and subsequently joined together without leaving any trace of adhesive. <IMAGE> |
