PURPOSE:To make stable decorating possible even in the case of complicated shape without developing defective transferring and bonding by a method wherein a base sheet is placed on the surface of a molded article having minute holes and the surface of the molded article is decorated by drawing. CONSTITUTION:Minute holes having the diameter of 0.8mm or less are bored in a molded article at the place, at which air tends to gather, such as recessed parts, grooves internal corners or the like so as to let air off. An upper and a lower chambers B and A are evacuated with a vacuum pump 13 under the condition that valves 10 and 11 are opened. At the same time, base sheet 3 is thermally softened with a panel heater 15 and adhesive is activated. Next, by sending compressed air to the upper chamber B with an air blasting pump 14 and lifting a table 9 under the condition that the valve 11 is closed and a valve 12 is opened, the base sheet 3 is brought into close contact with the molded article 1. Finally, by taking out the base sheet and the molded article 1 and peeling off transfer sheet, the molded article, to which functionality is given, can be obtained. |
