The assembly comprises a cap body 10, a base body 16, and a pair of tubular bodies 12, 16, arranged side by side and extending from the cap body 10 and the base body 16. One of the tubular bodies is the body 12 of a level detector, and the other is a body 14 for transfer of the fuel, for example the body of an electric pump, and is provided with a strainer 112. The two tubular bodies 12, 14 are held permanently in the base body 16 and can slide telescopically in respective cuplike portions 28, 30 of the cap body 10. Each tubular body 12, 14 is associated with elastic means 102, 122 which tend to push them against the bottom wall B of the tank to guarantee, on the one hand, an indication of the fuel level regardless of variations in the distance between the two walls, upper A and lower B, of the tank, and, on the other hand, a constant height of the strainer 112 with respect to the bottom wall B. <IMAGE> |
