PURPOSE:To facilitate miniaturization of the title electrode by making it be of a solid laminate film type formed of an enzyme fixing film and an oxidation- reduction responsive film containing a metal complex. CONSTITUTION:On one end face of a BPG base 1, an oxidation-reduction responsive film 2 of poly (Co-TAPP) is formed and an enzyme fixing film 3 is formed by coating on this oxidation-reduction responsive film 2. On the enzyme fixing film 3, cholesterol oxidase is fixed as the enzyme. To the other end face of the BPG base 1, one end part of a lead wire 5 of copper is connected through the intermediary of silver paste 4. The lead wire 5 is covered with an insulative tube 7. The BPG base 1 including a connecting part of the lead wire 5 is covered with a heat-shrinkable tube 8, and this heat-shrinkable tube 8 is fixed with the BPG base 1 by a thermo-setting epoxy adhesive 6. |
