<p>PURPOSE:To improve the insertion property by providing a linear member constituted by coating a shape memory resin softened by applying heat between pitches of a spiral tube, on a heating coil which can be heated by energizing it. CONSTITUTION:A linear member 4 is wound and installed between pitches of a spiral tube 3a positioned in the outermost side in the outer periphery of a spiral tube 3b. In this case, the linear member 4 is constituted by coating a shape memory resin 6 softened by applying heat, on a heating coil 5 which can be heated by an electric conduction from a power source, etc. In such a state, when the flexible tube 1 of an endoscope is inserted into a large intentine tube 9, and the heating coil 5 is energized, the shaped memory resin 6 is softened. Subsequently, when the flexible tube 1 is buckle at the bend part 10 of the large intestine tube 9, and the tip constituting part is caught by the bend part of the large intestine tube, and inserting part 2 is drawn back temporarily, the flexible tube 1 is set to a straight shape, the bending part 10 is strengthened, and also, the electric conduction to the heating coil 5 is stopped. Next, the shape memory resin 6 is headened in a state that this straight shape is held as it is.</p> |
