PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of strength over a long period of time by using a powder material formed by mixing tricalcium phosphate and dicalcium phosphate at specific molar ratios as an essential component and forming the tricalcium phosphate of a mixture composed of alpha type tricalcium phosphate and beta type tricalcium phosphate. CONSTITUTION:The powder material formed by mixing the tricalcium phosphate and the dicalcium phosphate so as to attain 1.400 to 1.498Ca/P molar ratio is used as the essential component and the tricalcium phosphate is the mixture composed of the alpha type tricalcium phosphate and the beta type tricalcium phosphate. The mixing ratio of the alpha type tricalcium phosphate and the beta type tricalcium phosphate is preferably specified to 97:3 to 50:50 range by weight. The hardened body which cures rapidly at nearly neutral pH, does not deteriorate over a long period of time and has excellent bioaffinity is obtd. in this way.
