[Also in Division H2] A lampholder assembly comprises a tubular, preferably opaque, body 1 containing a pair of electrically conductive contact springs 7 the end portions 13, 15 of which bear resiliently against a lens unit 16 and retain it in position at the end of the body. The springs are secured in the end wall 1a of the body and have semi-circular sections 8 which engage the input terminals 9 of a lamp unit 6. The assembly may be mounted on a panel by interposing the panel between the end 14 of the body and a flange 16b on the lens unit. |
