PURPOSE:To automatically determine the ordered quantity of a merchandise by providing input means for inputting weather characteristic information and day-of-the-week characteristic information and a calculating means which corrects the sales result of the merchandise to be ordered and the predicted order quantity of the merchandise to be ordered. CONSTITUTION:This device has a current merchandise stock information input means 1, the merchandise sales result information input means 2, a past weather information input means 3, the weather characteristic information input means 4, a weather forecasting information input means 5 for inputting weather forecasting information 24, and the day-of-the-week characteristic information input means 6. Then the predicted order quantity calculating means 8 calculates merchandise order quantity information 40 from the current merchandise stock information 20, ordering object merchandise sales result correction information 30, weather forecasting information 24, and day-of-the-week characteristic information 25. Thus, the weather characteristic information and day-of-the-week information are provided to improve the accuracy of the ordered quantity of the merchandise. |
