PURPOSE:To efficiently join products of mass-production by heating a lead wire with the coating film melt removed, feeding a solder to the lead wire and holding a terminal member between electrodes until the solder solidifies. CONSTITUTION:The lead wire 3 with coated end part 3a is wound to the terminal member 4. The wound terminal member 4 is held between the electrodes 7, 8 generating heat with electric conduction. By sending electric current into the electrodes 7, 8, the coating film on the lead wire 3 wound to the terminal member 4, is melted and removed. Together with this, the lead wire 3 with the coating film removed, is heated and the solder 12 is fed on the heated lead wire 3. After stopping electric conduction to the electrodes 7, 8, the terminal member 4 is held between the electrodes 7, 8 until the solder solidifies. By this method, the joining work can be completed in a short time without requiring man-hour so much. |
