<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high accurate tracking by extracting cross talk components of pilot signals from adjacent tracks from signals reproduced by two heads at the time of reproducing and controlling a tape feed phase into a position where these components are equalized to each other in level. CONSTITUTION:A video signal inputted to an A/D converter 12 is converted into a digital signal in accordance with a clock supplied from a timing generator 13, and is inputted to a high efficient coding circuit 14 to be subjected to bit reduction processing. This video signal is inputted to a correction code adding circuit 15, where a correction code for processing error correction at the time of reproducing is added, and in an interleave circuit 16, sorting processing in a block unit is performed, and moreover, a video signal data of one field is divided into two system signals. The two system video signal data are inputted to a synchronizing signal adding circuit 17 to be added with synchronizing data respectively, and in a digital modulator 18, data sorting processing is performed in order to suppress DC and low band frequency components. By this method, high accurate tracking is obtained.</p> |
