<p>PURPOSE:To correct the meandering of metal plate on the inlet side of a work roll and camber on the outlet side by detecting the meandering quantity of metal plate before passing through the work rolls and camber of metal plate in the width direction after passing through the work rolls and controlling the inclination of the work rolls and speed of metal plate in the width direction according to the detected quantity. CONSTITUTION:At the time of rolling by passing a metal plate T through between the work rolls 1, 2, the meandering quantity of the metal plate T before passing through the work rolls 1, 2 and the camber quantity of the metal plate T in the width direction after passing through the work rolls 1, 2 are respectively detected. And, by controlling the inclination of the work rolls 1, 2 along the width direction of the metal plate and also adjusting the speed of the metal plate T in the width direction that is given with the work rolls 1, 2 in accordance with the detected meandering quantity and camber in the width direction, the meandering of the metal plate T on the inlet side of the work rolls 1, 2 can be corrected with high accuracy and also the camber of the metal plate T on the outlet side can be corrected with high accuracy.</p> |
