PURPOSE:To obtain an image displaying a feature point or a feature area clearly by extracting the feature point or the feature area on the image based on image data, and outputting a first reproducing image based on the image data and a second reproducing image displaying an extracted feature point or feature area in parallel. CONSTITUTION:An accumulative type fluorescent material 14 which accumulates and records an X-ray image is carried in a direction of Y by a material carrier means 22. Meanwhile, an optical beam 24 emitted from a laser beam source 23 is reflected and deflected by a rotary polygonal mirror 26, and is made incident on the material 14, and performs main scan on the material in a direction X almost perpendicular to the direction of Y. Stimulated phosphorescent light 29 with light quantity in accordance with X-ray image information is emitted from the part of the material 14 irradiated with the optical beam 24, and is guided by an optical guide 30, and is detected photoelectrically by a photomultiplier 31. The photomultiplier 31 converts the light 29 to an electrical signal, and an analog signal SA is obtained as the image data SD as a digital signal at an A/D converter 33, and is inputted to a computer 40, and a second reproducing X-ray image based on the image data SD and a first reproducing X-ray image based on the image data are displayed on a CRT display 44. |
