PURPOSE:To enable the defective countermeasure of both breakers of the protection of a transmission line and the protection of a bus by one device by outputting a trip command to the opposed terminal of the transmission line and a bus terminal except a transmission line terminal or either one breaker when a fault is detected by an operation decision means. CONSTITUTION:A wide-area protective gear 6 is composed of a terminal equipment T10, a time-difference computing means 7, a compensating means 8 and an operation decision means 9. The operation decision means 9 decides the presence of a fault in a transmission line 1 and a bus A. When the fault is detected, a trip signal S9 is output. A trip signal S12 is output after specified decision. The trip signal S12 is output to a transmission-line protective gear 3 in order to interrupt a breaker CB2 while being also output to a terminal equipment 10. When the trip signal S12 is input to the transmission-line protective gear 3, a signal is transmitted to a transmission-line protective gear 4. Accordingly, the defective countermeasure of both breakers of the protection of a transmission line and the protection of a bus is enabled. |
