<p>PURPOSE:To make natural return at a point of time when displacement is eliminated by fixing one end of a spring member linked with a meandering detecting member provided at the axial end of a meandering detecting roller, and energizing the detecting member in the direction opposite to the displacement by a spring member when the detecting member is displaced by friction caused by a meandering belt. CONSTITUTION:When a flat belt 4 meanders to run-on to a meandering detecting member 7 at the axial end of a meandering detecting roller 3, frictional force displaces the shaft 3a of the roller 3 to dissolve the meandering of the belt 4. The other end of a spring member 8 fixed to a fixed member 9 at its one end is fixed to the detecting member 7. Thus, in the case of the displacement of the detecting member 7, the spring member 8 is given energizing force in a direction opposite to that of the displacement of the detecting member 7. The energizing force becomes stronger as the quantity of running-on decreases, and when the meandering therefore is eliminated, the detecting member 7 returns to its normal position. Thus since the quantity of the displacement is regulated according to the meandering quantity, the belt 4 can safely run under its simple construction.</p> |
