PURPOSE:To apply a modulated toner on an adhesive surface of a transparent adhesive tape to obtain a tape provided with desired graphics by a method wherein an electrified toner is supplied to an aperture electrode and thereabouts, and the flow of the toner is modulated to a desired pattern. CONSTITUTION:The cloud of a toner T is modulated by an aperture electrode 11 on an electric signal from a signal S. For example, when a negative potential (-) is applied to the signal S, an electric field for directing a positively (+) electrified toner from a reference electrode 21 to a control electrode 23 is generated inside an open part 20. As a result, the positively (+) electrified toner is directed to a counter electrode 12 through the open part 20. On the other hand, a transparent adhesive tape 14 is supplied from a transparent adhesive tape roller 13 to a position between the counter electrode 12 and the aperture electrode 11. The transparent adhesive tape 14 provided with a toner image is fed toward an outlet 18. In the midway, a releasable paper 16 is attached on the adhesive surface of the transparent adhesive tape 14 by a pair of contact bond rollers 17. The releasable paper 16 is supplied from a relesable paper roller 15. |
