PURPOSE:To enable a user to simulate a picture in a desired state before recording the picture by displaying how the picture is recorded on recording paper on a monitoring screen. CONSTITUTION:Video signals in a frame memory 14 are read out to a monitoring picture adjustment circuit 24 from the output 36 of the memory 14. A controller 18 reads out each adjusting value from a table 24a in accordance with a manually selected luminance, contrast, color, and hue and video signals read-out from the memory 14, with the readout being continuously performed by frames. The signals read out from the table 24a are converted into analog signals by means of a D/A converter 26 and outputted to a video monitor. Therefore, how a manually adjusted recording picture is recorded on recording paper can be displayed on the screen of a monitoring television receiver and the user can simulate the picture by manually adjusting the luminance, contrast, color, and hue again. |
