The bags (3) are suspended by their handles (5) from an inclined hanger (6) fixed to the rear wall (7) of a housing (1), against which the pack (4) is pressed by the motor driven friction roller (10) at the free end of its lever (8). The drive is timed by a signal from an electrical contact (11b) above the hanger (6) which is lifted whenever a bag (3) is dispensed from the pack (4). The timing guarantees that the handles (5) invariably protrude through the dispensing slot (2). ADVANTAGE - Carrier-bags with handles of different width and height can be dispensed easily by simple structure.
