发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE RECEIVING SHEET
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable supply of a thermal transfer image receiving sheet free from curling by providing a base sheet consisting of at least, two thermally contractable materials laminated in such a manner that their contracting direction is offset at a specific angle. CONSTITUTION:A lamination-type base consists of at least, two thermally contractable sheet materials laminated in such a manner that their contracting direction id offset at 45 deg. or lower, preferably at 30 deg. or lower. Thus the generation of curl is adequately prevented. The thermally contractable materials 2, 2' which are laminated on both surfaces of a core material used are such as synthetic paper, synthetic resin sheet, foamed polypropylene, foamed polyethylene and foamed polystyrene. Especially synthetic and foamed polypropylene are recommended, if various strength and cushioning properties are considered. The appropriate thickness of the thermally contractable sheet material is 30mum to 80mum. These thermally contractable sheet materials are ideally composed of the same material with the same thickness laminated on both surfaces of a core material. Alternately, the thermally contractable sheet materials of different types and different thickens, preferably ranging up to 30 deg. can be laminated on both surfaces of the core material.
