PURPOSE:To detect the elongation deformation and rupture of a rotor coil-end U-shaped bolt during revolution by penetrating and arranging an optical cable in the center hole of a U-shaped bolt and installing the transducing sections of an optical signal and an abnormality decision device. CONSTITUTION:A center hole is formed at the central axis of a u-shaped bolt 5. Optical cables 8 are penetrated into the center holes of all or divided into a plurality of groups of all U-shaped bolts 5 and disposed in series. Optical signals to the optical cables 8 are transmitted through transducing sections 9 from the fixing side of an electric rotary machine, and the optical signals passing through the optical cables 8 are received by the transducing section 9, and input to an abnormality decision device 11 through cables 10. When the U-shaped bolts 5 are elongated and deformed for some reason and further ruptured, the optical cables 8 are damaged and ruptured instantaneously, the optical signals passing in the optical cables 8 are deformed and stopped, and the abnormality of the optical signals is detected by the abnormality decision device 11. |
