<p>PURPOSE:To automatically clean backing and cutting blades in the cleaning method for a cutting device for thermo-recording type adhesive sheets after printing by applying an abrasive and a solvent to a surface base substance or an exfoliation base substance at the part of the beginning edge or the part of rear edge of the adhesive sheet and impregnating them into the surface. CONSTITUTION:While a thermo-recording type adhesive sheet is comprised of 4 layers of a surface backing, an adhesive agent, a separating material, and an exfoliation base substance, an abrasive or a solvent is applied and impregnated at the part of the beginning edge or the part of the rear edge of the surface backing or the exfoliation base substance. A cutting device 9 and a baking blade 10 are fixed with screws at the part of front end of the thermal head 6 of a thermal printer 1, and a cutting blade 11 forming a pair with the backing blade 10 is provided to the main body of a case 2 keeping its rotation axis in the widthwise direction of printing. When an adhesive sheet 13 whereon the solvent at the part of rear edge of the surface backing is applied begins to pass through after normal printing is performed, the adhesive sheet 13 is cut by the cutting device 9, and the backing blade 10 and the cutting blade 11 of the cutting device 9 touch the adhesive sheet 13 whereon the solvent on the surface material is applied and cleaned. When the front end part is applied and impregnated with the abrasive or the solvent, the sheet is previously cut prior to printing and cleaned.</p> |
