摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a laser device to radiate laser rays prescribed in wavelength, pulse width, and power peak and to be simplified in structure by a method wherein one or more laser amplifiers provided with a solid-state laser and an exciting laser device which excites a laser oscillator and the laser amplifiers are provided. CONSTITUTION:Laser rays 1b having a wavelength of 578nm out of laser rays 1a emitted from a copper vapor laser device 1 are reflected by a dichroic mirror 6, and laser rays 1c possessed of a wavelength of 511nm out of laser rays 1a are made to pass through the dichroic mirror 6. The laser rays 1b are reflected from a mirror 7b after they are reflected from a mirror 7a and made to irradiate a dye jet film 9 of dye solution inside a dye laser oscillator 2. On the other hand, the laser rays 1c having a length of 511nm are split into laser rays 1d and 1e branching off in two directions through a beam splitter 14 passing through a convex lens 13, where the power of the laser rays 1e is set higher than that of the laser rays 1d. After the laser rays 1d and 1e are reflected by mirrors 7a and 7d respectively, the laser rays 1d and 1e are made to irradiate a wavelength variable laser amplifier 3 in which a disapphire crystal is made to serve as a laser medium.
