ORIENTATED POLYESTER FILM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject orientated polyester film excellent in slip properties, traveling properties and abrasion resistance by blending a polyester having a specified elastic modulus with a thermoplastic resin containing inert particles added in polymerization process in a prescribed ratio. CONSTITUTION:An objective film containing (A) a polyester containing no inert particles such as a carbonate of Ca, Mg or Ba, e.g. a copolyester in which >=80mol% of its repeating units is ethylene terephthalate and (B) a thermoplastic resin such as a polyester-based resin containing inert particles added in polymerization process and having a dynamic elastic modulus lower than that of the above-mentioned component (A) in 0.1-10wt.% ratio of the component (B) to the component (A) and capable of producing a magnetic tape having an excellent magnetic characteristics.
