<p>PURPOSE:To produce continuously a long body having projections on the surface thereof by rotating a pattern roll prepared by overlapping desired numbers of ordinary discs and discs having cut parts at the outer periphery thereof in the axial direction and by extruding resin on to the roll. CONSTITUTION:While the pattern roll 12 prepared by overlapping desired numbers of discs 20 in an ordinary form and of discs 19 having cut parts 18 corresponding to the projections and indentations the surface of a molded article 51 in the direction of a shaft 23 is rotated, melted resin is extruded from the flow channel 9 of resin of an extruding die 8 provided just above the roll 12 and is injected into a space formed between the pattern roll 12 and a wedge-shaped die 10. By changing the sizes of the discs 19 and 20 and the form of the cut part 18, a number of long bodies 51 having projected or indented patterns of various forms can be manufactured simultaneously and continuously. The aforesaid constitution is fitted for manufacturing bushing, bands, rack gears and the like.</p> |
