The oil bath braking system comprises a vehicle brake having an attached oil bath which acts directly on the wheel to be braked downstream of an epicyclic converter. A number of reation discs (9) are pressed against a number of sintered counter discs (10) using small cam-actuated transmission pistons (17) and a ring piston (11). USE/ADVANTAGE - Oil bath braking system suitable for relatively fast vehicles, i.e. those travelling above 40 km/h.
