[Classes 26 and 46.] A waste-outlet fitting for baths, lavatory basins, sinks, or the like, comprises a tubular body axiallv divided into two complementary parts 2, each of which is provided a t i t s bottom end with an integrally formed grating portion 3. The parts 2 comprise flanges 4, 6 the latter supporting a detachable grating 7. Apertures 9 take the overflow from the aperture 10 and also serve for the escape of liquid not passing through the grating 3 ; separate apertures may, however, be provided for the latter purpose. The parts 2 may be provided with a tongue and slot or other connection 13 and a circumferential groove to accommodate a spring clip 18. In a modification, the top grating is formed in two halves, each integral with one of the parts 2. In a further modification, a detachable top grating is positively secured to the parts 2 by a tongue and slot connection. The parts are preferably formed by die-casting.
