PURPOSE:To delete, expand, and alter a window with necessary irreducible instructions by grouping and handling windows as window layers of stage layer structure, and controlling contiguity relations between the windows by using a surface table, a line table, and a point table. CONSTITUTION:The windows are grouped and controlled as the window layers of the stage layer structure by using the surface table 11, line table 12, and point table 13 to control the contiguity relations between windows in the same window layer. Namely, a table generating means 1 generates the surface table 11, line table 12, and point table 13 as a window is generated, a write means 4 write them in a storage device 7, and a read means 5 reads them out. A table retrieval means 3 retrieves the tables 11 - 13, a table update means 2 deletes and expands windows and updates the tables 11 - 13 while maintaining the contiguity relations, and a visual display means 6 assigns the windows to a screen according to the tables 11 - 13. Consequently, the windows can be deleted, expanded, and altered with necessary irreducible instructions. |
