Between the two pipe plates are held the filter elements. At least one of the two pipe plates has external dimensions which are smaller than the internal dimensions of the housing so that the pipe plate is movable within the housing. The module is provided with an O-ring seal at the location of the pipe plate which is movable in the housing. The two pipe plates are connected to one another by one or more draw bars, and at least one of them is provided with a screw cap on the outwardly directed side of the filter module for each of the filter elements.
