In order to save weight and to use material in an optimum manner it is proposed that the hollow shaft (1), on which drive elements, e.g. cams (2) or end flanges (3), are mounted, preferably by broadening the said shaft in sections, be constructed of at least two layers (5, 6), the outer layer (5) preferably being produced from a material of relatively high strength, e.g. steel, and the inner layer (6) consisting of a material of relatively low strength, e.g. aluminium or titanium. If difficulties are encountered in this case in achieving an adequately secure mounting of the drive elements as a result of the required expansion of the hollow shaft in the expansion regions (9), supporting rings (4) can be provided which are deformed purely plastically while the materials of the hollow shaft (1) are themselves likewise deformed only plastically, in the same way as the drive elements. The expansion regions are limited by seals (10) on a pressure probe (7) to which pressure fluid is supplied via a channel (8). …
…
|
