<p>Described herein is test apparatus, a kit and a method for conducting immunoassays. They all provide for at least two rows (32,34) of test wells (17,18,19,17',18',19'), the wells being constructed and designated so that all the wells (17',18',19') of at least a portion of a row (34) receive only materials for a negative control, and all the wells (17,18,19) of at least a portion of an adjacent row (32) receive only materials, such as the patient sample and reagents, capable of producing a substantial color change. By ensuring that no color-producing well occurs between a patient sample well (17,18,19) and its negative control well (17',18',19'), a more accurate comparison is obtained. <IMAGE></p> |
