An edible meat filled pie is prepared by dicing raw meat, passing the diced meat through a steam tunnel to seal the surfaces of the meat and loading the scaled diced pieces into a container with a broth or marinade. The meat pieces are then tenderised and cooked in the marinade. After cooking the marinade is used to make a sauce and the cooked diced meat pieces and sauce are filled into a dough lined container which is then covered by a top layer of dough. The product is packaged. |
