The device, intended to allow a quick and easy adaptation to the various forms of straight cross section of the product being packaged, inserted between the product conveyor and the belt feeding the empty bags, comprises a double pair of spread-apart paddles 14 with vertical axis, able to pivot, and symmetrically opposing each other; the upper paddles 47, 48 being height-adjustable via manoeuvring screws 54, 55, coupled together by a belt 56 closed in a ring on corresponding pulleys 57, 58, secured to the upper ends of the screws themselves; a pair of rear spread-apart paddles with horizontal axis being made to cooperate with said vertical paddles 14, for opening the upper and lower edges of the bag; the use occurs at production and/or packaging plants for cooked or cured meats in general, having a flat support base. |
