Arrangement for rationalizing electric alternating fields and static charging. In the electricity-intensive immediate surroundings of a person, it is desirable to reduce the electric alternating fields and the static charging which is transferred to the desk underframe. This aim has been solved in a safely insulated manner by the plug 1 made of plastic being connected to a normal earthed power outlet. The outlet 2 is connected to the desk underframe which is to be earthed by a cable 5. An RC circuit 3 is connected to the earth plate 4 of the plug, and the object is then statically connected to the earth of the electricity network.
