PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. excellent in heat resistance and moldability by compounding a vinyl chloride resin, a polyphenylene oxide resin, and a specific styrene copolymer as the essential components. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is prepd. by compounding a vinyl chloride resin (e.g. PVC), a polyphenylene oxide resin (e.g. Noryl 731, a product of General Electric Co.), and a styrene copolymer comprising monomer units derived from styrene and monomer units derived from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of an alkyl (meth)acrylate, (meth)acrylonitrile, and glycidyl (meth)acrylate (e.g. a copolymer obtd. by grafting polymethyl methacrylate onto the main chain of polystyrene) as the essential components. |
