<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of menu selection in a small space by effectively using a screen by providing a means to separately and independently display menu items. CONSTITUTION:A means is provided to independently display the respective menu items of a pull-down menu and a pop-up menu while freely separating them from the pull-down menu and the pop-up menu, and a means is provided to prepare one pop-up menu by synthesizing the separated menu items. For example, a mouse pointer is positioned at a menu item 600, which is desired to be always displayed in a pull-down menu 300, and moved while pushing a button. When the button is separated at a desired position, a menu control part prepares a menu item 610 as the copy of the menu item 600 and a display control part displays the menu item 610 after calculating coordinates to be displayed. Thus, the menu item having the high frequency of use can be always displayed at the arbitrary position of the screen, and the menu display of high operability in the small space is enabled.</p> |
