PURPOSE:To carry out treatment of a plant so as to provide residual crispy chewiness without destroying vegetable fibers, etc., by adding water or a seasoning to the plant, etc., placing the resultant plant in a container, keeping the plant in a vacuum state and heating the plant at a low temperature. CONSTITUTION:A plant (e.g. vegetables, fruits or seaweeds) to which water or a seasoning is added or not is placed in a container such as a film, kept in a vacuum state and preferably heated at a temperature as low as <=80 deg.C for 3-120min to carry out the objective treatment. |
