Procedure for obtaining nitrates of 1-aryloxy-3-amino-2- propyl, of general formula I <IMAGE> (Ar=phenyl or naphthyl; R1 and R2 are substituents in the aromatic nucleus and are H, nitro or C1-C4 alkyls possibly carrying functional groups; R3 and R4 are H or C1-C4 alkyls); the procedure is based on the reaction of 1-aryloxy-3-amino-2-propyl derived from the formula <IMAGE> (R5=OH or halogen) with a nitrate of formula M (NO3)n, where M= when R5=OH and M=metal when R5=halogen. The compounds obtained have therapeutic applications against angina.
