PURPOSE:To attain accurate self-repair by precedently executing a 2nd work when a 1st work can not directly be applied, detecting the state of an objective device after completing the whole work and deciding whether a failure has been removed or not. CONSTITUTION:An application deciding means reads out the 1st work corre sponding to the working index of a case to be applied from a working script for the same failure cause which is stored in a working script storing part 18, decides whether the read 1st work can directly be applied or not, and at the time of deciding that the 1st work can not directly applied, applies necessary correction to the contents of the case to be applied stored in a case base storing means 17 or the contents of the case and its working script. The necessary correction means to insert prework so that the 2nd work is executed prior to the initially included 1st work e.g., in order to set up a precedent coincidence state. After completing the repairing work, whether the failure has been removed or not is decided. Thus, the accurate self-repair can be executed. |
