IMPROVED SILVER HALIDE WASH-OUT ELEMENTS A gelatino, silver halide, wash-out element containing a dispersion of a plasticized hydrophobic thermoplastic polymer dispersed as droplets in water, is described. This element can be used to prepare wash-out images of superior quality and integrity. Carbon black also may be present to enhance and darken the resulting images prepared therefrom. 18
