PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a switching operation even if a receiver and the like are exchanged by discriminating the identification code of a maker and the type of a machine from a received remote control signal and originating the remote control signal of the code fitted to the installed receiver. CONSTITUTION:A remote control signal transmitter for the receiver 5 is caused to face a remote control signal reception part 8 and an operation key is depressed so as to originate the remote control signal. A start bit showing the start of the remote control signal is provided at first and the identification code for identifying the maker and the type of the receiver is constituted by 16 bits. Then, a control code composed of 16 bits for selecting the channel of the receiver is installed. The originated remote control signal is received by a remote control signal reception part 8 and is inputted to a discrimination part 10 through a control part 7. The discrimination part 10 writes the discriminated identification code which is compared with the identification code which reads the part of the identification code into a storage part 11. |
