The display device for a timepiece comprising a base (1) with timer interval markings indicating hours and minutes, and a hands-movement (2,3), has a pivoting disc (4), arranged parallel to and above the hands. The disc is animated by a rotational movement in a direction opposing the motion of the hands, and its radius is smaller than the length of the shorter hand. The disc supports decorative figures in Islamic dress and a fixed parallel piece. A central part of the disc is decorated by a parallelepipedic perspective of a shrine or "Kaaba". The operating device for the hands includes two concentric hollow tubes (6,7) on a central axis (9), with a support element (8) passing through the inner one. The disc is mounted at the outer end of the support, and the hands on the ends of the two tubes which are staggered vertically. ADVANTAGE - Decorative addition to watch of "Kaaba" with imitation pilgrim figures moving around it. |
