PURPOSE:To attain self-diagnosis and self-repair by diagnosing a failure based upon status data applied from plural sensor means and feature data, qualitative data and failure diagnostic knowledge stored in a storage means and selecting an actuator means to be driven. CONSTITUTION:When status data applied from the sensor means become relatively lower or higher than feature data such as reference data, the occurrence of a failure is decided. The status of the failure is diagnosed based upon the qualitative data. When the failure occurs, which actuator means among plural actuator means 6a to 6c is to be driven to repair the occurred failure is inferred based upon the qualitative data, the failure diagnostic knowledge and the mutual comparison of adjusting states of the means 6a to 6c applied from an adjusting state output means and actuator adjusting ranges set up in an adjusting range setting means to select among the means 6a to 6c. Thus, the self-diagnosis and the self-repair can be executed. |
