Nozzle for transfer press - has hollow annular space filled with liq. to cool it and reduce deposits
摘要
The nozzle of a transfer press for the mfr. of rubber articles has an annular space contg. a liq. which evaporates to cool the lower part of the space. It condenses in the upper, cooler part of the space and then runs back into the lower part. The liq. can be water and can fill about 1/3 of the space which can have a total volume of 1-20 cubic cm. The base plate consists of two sheets which are sepd. by an insulating layer. The nozzle has a liner and an outer wall which together form a hollow space sealed by a ring. The rubber mixt. in the die adjacent to the lower plate can reach up to 150 deg.C. Water boils at 100 deg.C to cool the lower section and the vapour condenses in the relatively cooler region in contact with the upper plate. The insert including the mouth piece is kept below the vulcanisation temp. so that deposits are avoided. USE/ADVANTAGE - Keeps the temp. below the vulcanisation temp. and prevents premature vulcanisation resulting in contaminating deposits. (0/1)
