The frame is composed of profiled components (2,3) whose cross-sections include a pair of angled pieces towards each edge, separated by a flat land in their longitudinal centre portions. Each side of the frame is formed of one of these profiled members, joined at their intersections to form right-angled corners. The ends of the profiled members at their intersections are cut across perpendicularly to their longitudinal axes to form straight end faces (13,14). A packing piece (15) is proivded for each intersection to fill the resulting space between the ends of the adjacent profiled members and continue the outline of their cross-sections into the corner.
